A Guide to a Fake Blacklight Spider-man (Times TWO)

You heard that right! There are two different Fake Black light Spiderman Funko Pops.
And before I scare you away. They are super easy to tell them apart.

......Except if your colorblind you might need some assistance. 😅

Let's get into it.
____________________

We'll start off with Fake #1. The theme is purple.

1. Spiderman on the box is shaded a faint purple. The rest of the colors on the box is dull and boring.
-Dull orange border, Dull pink funko number, Dull pink Spiderman suit...
Definitely not as vibrant and impressive as the real one.

(Be careful when looking at listings. Some might take photos in an unwell lit area or add filters, but you will always be able to see the lighter purple shade on Spidey.)

2.  Wow, look at that purple. So very bright.

3. The purple makes Spidey look brighter than he seems. Instead of adding that nice dark purple as a shadow, its highlighting his suit more.

4. This side of Fake #1 box seems to be lacking color too. Almost as if it had some sun damage. Oh, don't forget the purple!

Next Fake #2, the theme is Yellow
(It's gonna be a little messy with the sellers watermark all over it, but it was the best one I could find.)

1. If we look toward the top left of the box, the 'Pop!' logo is fully shaded in yellow. No gradient like the real version.

2.  'Pop!' fully shaded in yellow. You can also notice the name Spider-Man is printed in a duller color orange, but lets stick to the yellow Pop! logo to make our life easier.

3. You can see where this is going... yellow logo.

4.  I know there's a big watermark with a 10% off Sale, but if you look closely a yellow Pop! logo.
-The green on the Earth-like road is a bit off too.

See, easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Just look out for the Light Purple Shade or Yellow Logo's and you should be fine!

If all indicators" listed above have been spotted on a box, or you have suspicions it is fake, avoid purchasing. If you need help identifying if your box is fake, I’ll gladly be able to help.  --Another thing to point out. Take a sneak peek at the sellers page/profile. Are they a new seller? Or do they only have listings of known to be fake Funko Pops? (such as Jiraiya, Bakugo, Dabi, Loki with cube, Sasuke Curse Mark etc.) If so, stay clear of them. Those Sellers are known to be stealing pictures from others and using it for their listings to move there fake funko pops. (Best way to tell is if there background in photos doesn't match to the rest of their listings.) -----

If you spot more indicators, feel free to comment below. Stay Safe and until next time.
