A Guide to a Fake 2020 SDCC Bakugo

I've been notified that there are fakes of SDCC Bakugo floating around. I hope this guide will help you spot them easily.

--There are, in total, 6 indicators that will help you identify a fake. 1. Missing highlight in the hair.

________________
2. Awful cut white spacing on the cardboard. (Bottom #1 is the quickest one to spot.)

________________
3. The bottom of his mask is missing paint. (Of course some of the real Bakugo's do have a paint defect. But this one appears to be all the same on the Fakes.

________________
4. Missing Hottopic sticker if it's shared. (Although do remember that this was also sold overseas. Like Popcultcha and Ozziecollectibles. Not all boxes have been sold at hottopic).

________________

5. Check out the plastic insert on the fake.

6. Awful Coloring and shading! (The Fake one tends to be shaded darker and tinged green. Please note that not everyone's camera quality is great.)

If all "6 of the indicators" listed above have been spotted on a box, or you have suspicions it is fake, avoid purchasing. If you need help identifying if your box is fake, I’ll gladly be able to help.

--Another thing to point out. Take a sneak peek at the sellers page. Are they a new seller? Or do they have listings of known to be fake Funko Pops? (such as Jiraiya, Bakugo, Dabi, Loki with cube, Sasuke Curse Mark etc.) If so, stay clear of them. Those Sellers are known to be stealing pictures from others and using it for their listings to move there fake funko pops.

Or 'Kindly' inform the seller its a fake. Some of them are unknowing if they purchased it from someone else.

Stay Safe and until next time.
